WETLABS Professional Development for Teachers

May 24, 2017 By Lani Kamauu Yamasaki

You’re Invited!

Watershed Education to Teach, Learn and Advance Behaviors of Stewardship (WETLABS) June 12-16 2017

WETLABS will support teachers in learning the science of water flows in our ahupua‘a through hands-on lessons, observational drawing, and service learning with community partners to deepen understanding of our watersheds and sense of stewardship.

On June 16, Liquid Robotics will deliver a presentation on the intersection of traditional Hawaiian values and natural resource management  practices with green modern technology, including the Wave Glider.  Representing Liquid Robotics Community Engagement Program are Chuck Shaver and Lani Yamasaki.

About Liquid Robotics, a Boeing Company:

Liquid Robotics designs and manufactures the Wave Glider, the first wave and solar powered unmanned ocean robot. With our partners we address many of the planet’s greatest challenges, by transforming how to assess, monitor, and protect the ocean. We solve critical problems for defense, commercial, and science customers. Visit www.liquid-robotics.com to learn more.

Liquid Robotics and Wave Glider are registered trademarks of Liquid Robotics, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Boeing.
