Mālama Honua Fair and Youth Summit, Hawaiʻi Convention Center

Sunday, June 18, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

In honor of Hōkūleʻaʻs homecoming, Polynesian Voyaging Society will be hosting the Mālama Honua Fair and Youth Summit.  The Youth Summit is co-sponsored by the World Youth Congress. Mālama Honua means to take care of our earth. The Summit brings together local and global youth to share and celebrate mālama honua stories, and develop a collective call to action for the stewardship of our Earth.

I will be speaking on the intersection of traditional cultural practices and green modern technology to mālama honua at the Youth Summit Plenary Session on June 18. The session is open to the general public (first come first serve) with preference to registered conference attendees.
